Faith Formation

Discover the foundations of our Catholic faith.

Our Faith Formation Mission

St. Anne Faith Formation works in partnership with parents to provide encounters with the Catholic faith through education, spirituality, and community, enabling students to develop strong and committed faith lives.

By the end of their time in the Faith Formation program, students will be able to:
  • Articulate essential Dogmas, Doctrines, and Authoritative Teachings of the Catholic Church.
  • Develop personal styles of prayer through the Mass, rosary, adoration, or contemporaneous prayer.
  • Contribute to the ongoing ministries present at St. Anne Parish.

About Our Program

St. Anne Parish offers several catechetical options, allowing you to choose the method that works best for you and your family.

Classroom Style Faith Formation Sessions:
  • Kinder through 8th Grade:
    • Mondays, 4:15 pm – 5:30 pm at Saint Anne School
    • Mondays, 6:15 pm – 7:30 pm at Saint Anne School
  • 8th Grade Only:
    • Sundays, 9:30 am – 10:45 am at Saint Anne Church
  • Home-Based Faith Formation (Kinder – 8th Grade)
In addition to our on-site catechetical programs, we offer parents the opportunity to teach religious education to their children in their own home through our Home-Based program. Parents who elect to utilize this program are provided the resources and materials to teach the curriculum at home. Home-Based students follow the Faith Formation schedule and also require full participation in our parish formation gatherings such as Family Night, Stations of the Cross, and Penance Services.

Please get in touch with our office if you would like to learn more about how Faith Formation can serve your family.

Right of Christian Initiation for Adults

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is an ongoing formational program that meets on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm in the DePalma Room from September through May.

Individuals seeking Baptism and full initiation into the Catholic Church (catechumens), or those who are coming from another faith tradition seeking to complete their initiation (candidates) are invited to join.

The members of the RCIA team encourage candidates and catechumens to continue conversion and "enter into a relationship with God in Christ." Culminating at the Easter Vigil, the catechumens and candidates are brought into full communion with the Catholic Church through the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist.
